A Panel Discussion
As part of the project, Subrang Arts did numerous outreach activities, one of which was participating in the South Asian Heritage Month 2021 celebrations. SAHM seeks to raise the profile of British South Asian heritage and history in the UK through education, arts, culture, and commemoration with the goal of helping people to better understand the diversity of present day Britain and show influences in numerous areas.
Here is a panel discussion by Lata Desai and Rolf Killius (Curators), Sushma Jansari (Tabor Foundation curator at British Museum), Mohammed Keshavjee (International lawyer) and Sheena Patel (Researcher) led by Tiya Dahyabhai (Museums lead at SAHM).
